Those Beasts
Within God's Holy Word...
In the book of Daniel, chapter seven, we see history unfold,
'Cause specific prophetic things, God via a vision, Daniel told.
Yes, our God opened up the future to this very humble Jew,
Who recorded there for us, a prophecy that in time came true.
Now, when Daniel was in vision, four unusual beasts he saw,
Each one representing a kingdom that the devil's hallmarks bore.
But from the top of the fourth beast’s head, he saw a “little horn” rise,
A kingdom even more deadly, that absolute power would prize.
Okay, let's take a look at these beasts.
The first “beast” seen, looked like a “lion,” and it had wings like an eagle;
It representing a kingdom once extensive, strong and regal,
For soon the kingdom of BABYLON was conquered by a power
That attacked with stealth and cunning during Babylon’s weakest hour.
This second power that stormed Babylon, looked like a great big “bear,”
One with three tusks between its teeth; those tusks being conquests pictured there,
For this MEDO-PERSIAN power not just Babylon invaded,
But two more kingdoms as well, which it quickly conquered and raided.
The third “beast” looked like a “leopard,” with four very large wings attached,
For this power’s speed of conquest and range no other one had matched.
And under Alexander the Great, not just Medo-Persia fell,
But many other powers also, where GREECE cast its net and spell.
The fourth “beast” was “terrifying,” and somewhat indescribable;
It representing PAGAN ROME, whose very presence brought a chill.
This cruel and violent power then conquered the kingdom of Greece,
And up until it also fell, its evil activity didn’t cease.
This fourth “beast” had “ten horns,” which protruded from the top of its head,
They representing Germanic tribes that strong attacks on Rome led.
Hence how pagan Rome was soon crushed, and its iron-fisted rule,
But later, out of its ruins, arose another power as cruel.
Yes, for from amongst the “ten horns” that were upon the fourth beast’s head,
A “little horn” then emerged, a power that Constantine once led.
This religious-political power that emperors’ thrones now filled,
Persecuted relentlessly, and via harsh inquisitions grilled.
That power? PAPAL ROME.
This ecclesiastical power ruled for over a thousand years,
And its identity and background in history books appears.
It attempted to change God’s Law, and sought to change God’s Holy day,
And eventually killed those who its dictates wouldn’t obey.
Thus, as foretold, a lawless one within the Christian Church appeared;
An antichrist authority, just like prophecy had declared.
Thus, with the Church and State combined, apostasy became enshrined,
And God’s truth that had once held firm, thereafter rapidly declined.
Hence how the Christian Church thus hi-jacked, became the old devil’s tool
For enforcing his agenda, as via this power he could rule.
Once politics and religion had wrongly grasped each other’s hand,
Satan knew that he had the platform to dictate throughout the land.
This “little horn” power that Daniel (when he was in vision) saw,
John also saw within a vision, and he elaborates more.
Though it was nearly destroyed once, it survived and regained power,
And Revelation tells us that it plays a part in Earth’s last hour.
Its leader incorrectly says that the head of God’s church is he,
But Scripture says that Christ is, thus he’s speaking blasphemously.
And once again, this power’s leader makes another faulty claim,
Stating that he is equal with God; and he dictates in God’s name.
We're told that just prior to Christ’s return, a new power will arise,
Also religious and political; a “false prophet,” for it too, lies.
And this power soon rules the earth, and the earth’s inhabitants fools,
Except for its dissenters — that is, those adhering to God’s rules.
That power? AMERICA.
This new cruel power will promote and eventually endorse
The little horn’s day of worship, who, Sunday also, will endorse.
Those keeping the true Sabbath, will first be scorned, then persecuted,
Even though God himself the seventh day Sabbath instituted.
You see, Sunday observance instead, the old power made church law,
Thus refuting the seventh day — Saturday — just like God foresaw.
Daniel who was shown this in vision, recorded it in God’s Word,
And history affirms that what he wrote actually occurred.
God's Sabbath day?
God’s Sabbath day is a memorial of His creative act,
And His hallowing and blessing it being a clear biblical fact.
No other day God has hallowed, and no other day He has blessed,
But simply the seventh day, a day upon which we’re told to rest.
Whenever the past’s forgotten, we usually just repeat it,
Hence why very soon, the old power’s shoes, a new power will fit.
It’s an “image,” effectively — that is, it mirrors the old power,
Finishing what the old power started, around Christ’s coming hour.
Satan's plans were thwarted due to the Protestant Reformation,
And hence Satan’s new “beast” power that's mentioned in Revelation.
For what he failed to do before, he will again attempt to do
But via the little horn’s “image,” Revelation’s “beast” number two.
The first “beast” that's in Revelation, alias the “little horn,”
Supports the second “beast,” who the true Sabbath — Saturday — will scorn.
The little horn's image most of earth’s inhabitants follow,
Whether through expediency, or the falsehood that they swallow.
Yes, the “little horn” power is the first “beast” of Revelation.
How do we know this? Because John provided such information.
Their connection's very clear, for the details of both are the same,
And both (including the “image”), the prerogatives of God claim.
The devil's using every trick in the hope that he’ll Christians fool,
So that they’ll again embrace another system that he can rule.
And our current world events, and those strident calls for unity,
Are thus giving the old devil a golden opportunity.
Yes, with all under one umbrella, so much easier it’ll be
For the devil to implement his nasty End-time strategy.
With all wanting peace and safety, more accepting most folk will be
Of Satan’s New World Order promising things that they’d like to see.
If this you don’t believe, just observe, and if unsure, do the same,
For in time you will surely see if I am making a false claim.
'Cause Satan has coveted worship that to God alone is due,
And therefore, such a scenario clearly fits with what he’d do.
